Since 1984, The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce has been celebrating business excellence through its annual ABEX Awards. If your business achieved something great this year, we want to hear from you! There is no nomination needed, simply submit an application for your desired category by May 1, 2024 to be considered.

Level 1: The History of Indigenous Peoples in Saskatchewan

Open to members and the general public, this introductory session covers the history of First Nations and Metis Peoples in Saskatchewan from pre-contact to today, including the Treaties, the TRC Calls to Action, the duty to consult, impact and benefit agreements, The Indian Act, and residential schools.
