KendalKendal Netmaker is both the founder and CEO of Neechie Gear Inc.

Kendal Netmaker is an Aboriginal Entrepreneur who grew up on Sweetgrass First Nation, SK. In grade 5, his best friend from South Africa gave Kendal a helping hand by giving him the opportunity to take part in soccer. He never forgot about what his friend had done for him when he founded the popular clothing brand, Neechie Gear, a lifestyle apparel brand that empowers youth through sports. A portion of profits help fund underprivileged youth to take part in sports. After finishing 2 degrees from the University of Saskatchewan, Kendal grew the brand from a 1 bedroom apartment in Saskatoon to a mall kiosk to a retail store in The Centre Mall in Saskatoon. Neechie Gear headquarters has recently moved to 718 Circle Drive East.  Aside from headquarters, Neechie Gear is now sold to consumers across North America through other retail shops and online ( 

Kendal was the recipient of two ABEX Awards in 2012 and in 2015 he was the CCAB National Aboriginal Youth Entrepreneur of the Year and the Runner-up for the Youth Business International Entrepreneur of the Year.
