Government Programs

Western Diversification Program (WD)
Has programs available to enhance business productivity, competitiveness, and growth including improved business systems and accessing skilled labour. Applications and program details can be accessed through the website.

Ministry of the Economy - Skills Training Allocation Program
Designed to provide funding to assist with training programs that address the needs of Saskatchewan business and industry for skilled workers in the areas of greatest labour market demand. Programs are offered through the Regional Colleges, Lakeland College, SIAST campuses, the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) and Dumont Technical Institute (DTI).

Ministry of Agriculture - Saskatchewan Agri-Value Initiative (SAVI) 
SAVI continues to help Saskatchewan agribusinesses grow, contributing to the province's value-added industry by assisting agribusinesses with product development, marketing efforts and training. Application categories have been adjusted to include labour training and enhancements.

Ministry of Agriculture - Saskatchewan Lean Improvements in Manufacturing (SLIM)
SLIM provides financial support to agri-food processors for projects that improve productivity and efficiency. 

IRAP-NRC - Digital Technology Adoption Pilot Program (DTAPP)
DTAPP represents a significant investment into the Canadian economy in an effort to increase the productivity growth of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Canada across all sectors through the adoption of digital technologies.
