Research Campaign

What is the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce Research Campaign?

The Research Campaign is one of several avenues that the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce utilizes when projects arise that require a high degree of specialized knowledge. Research Campaigns pool the financial resources of private businesses and industry associations across Saskatchewan to research, report on and advocate solutions for issues important to the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce membership. Routine projects will continue to be addressed by the Chamber's traditional research methods.

The Impact of Rail Access on Saskatchewan's Export Potential

The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce report on The Impact of Rail Access on Saskatchewan's Export Potential has been released!

The long-anticipated report, compiled by the Conference Board of Canada, to measure The Impact of Rail Access on Saskatchewan’s Export Potential and draft recommendations, was released March 30 in Regina.

“After the problems our exporters experienced in the winter of 2013/14 the Saskatchewan Chamber contracted the Conference Board of Canada to conduct this research,” explained Saskatchewan Chamber CEO Steve McLellan in the Press Release (read the Press Release in full by clicking here). “We recognized then the absolute necessity of getting ahead of any future rail supply chain issues.”
